Bourbon Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish
Instructions
- Peel and cut carrots into 1/4” diagonal slices.
- Blanch carrots for 4–5 minutes. Drain.
- Melt butter in a large skillet. Stir in brown sugar and bourbon, cooking 1–2 minutes to thicken.
- Add carrots to skillet, toss to coat, and cook 3–5 minutes.
- Season with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Garnish with herbs.
