Rigatoni Bake
Ingredients
- 1 lb rigatoni
- 1 lb hot Italian sausage
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 3/4 jars marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Boil rigatoni until al dente.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta and 1/4 cup Parmesan.
- Brown sausage in olive oil; add paprika when cooked.
- Add marinara to sausage.
- In a 9×13-inch pan, combine half the sauce with pasta, then spread half the ricotta mixture and mozzarella over the top.
- Layer remaining pasta and sauce, then top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
